About Me

I am a stepmom to two amazing kids,  a rescue dog and cat mom and advocate.  I am a plant-geek, nature-lover, and Zentangle® aficionado among other things.  All photos and drawings on this blog are mine, or the kiddos, unless otherwise indicated.

I have experimented with a couple of formats (e.g., Instagram, Tumblr) to archive and document my Zentangle® practice and nature photography. Although the social aspect of those is fun and rewarding, they aren't really giving me the flexibility I need for the Zentangle® part. This blog is meant to document my practice and journey for me and for anyone else whom might be interested.  It is my goal to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) at some point.
